The floor in the power plant of a major beverage manufacturer was badly damaged from constant chemical attack. Following strict EPA guidelines, USI had the solution they needed. The damaged concrete was repaired with 3M Scotchkote Epoxy Concrete Repair 474, followed by 3M Scotchkote Epoxy Sealer SP 810. Then, it was finished with 3M Scotchkote Epoxy Coating 175UC to protect from future chemical damage.
A heavy duty floor protection system suitable for concrete floors operating in an aggressive industrial environment was required. The 3M Scotchkote Epoxy Floor Coating HB 850 was chosen for this application over other coating systems based on its ceramic enhancement. The dense concrete floor, totalling 3,090 sq. feet, was prepared by captive-shot blasting, and primed with 3M Scotchkote GP Primer. The primed substrate was then coated with our two component, solvent-free, ceramic-enhanced, high build epoxy coating 3M Scotchkote Epoxy Floor Coating HB 850 which offers optimum levels of adhesion, abrasion, impact, and chemical resistance.
The corrosion on these metal storage tanks was so bad that the stuctural integrity was threatened and required immediate repair. The tanks were blasted to remove corrosion and other contaminants. Uni-Tech MC Primer was applied. Then two coats of our polyurethane coating 3M Scotchkote Urethane Coating UV 840, a UV stable, high performance coating, were applied to provide long term protection.
Uni-Tech GP Primer and Wall-Tech WB, our water-based epoxy coating, was used to refurbish one of the tank rooms at a brewery.

Chemi-Tech PW was used to protect the internal surfaces of the tanks.
